Request for Applications: Outline and Request for Letter of Intent
Smart Start Partnership for Children is releasing an outline of an upcoming Request for Applications (RFA) and invites interested applicants to submit a Letter of Intent (LOI). The purpose of the LOI process is to confirm eligibility and assess alignment with approved program areas prior to the release of the full RFA and application materials.
This document provides an overview of the approved programs and anticipated application timeline. Submission of a Letter of Intent is required to be considered for participation in the full application phase.
Key Dates:
- January 22, 2026 - Letter of Intent released for planned activities
- January 29, 2026 - Letters of intent due by 3:00 PM
- February 2, 2026 - Full request for applications released to approved LOI applicants
- March 5, 2026 - Applications due by 3:00 PM
- April 24, 2026 - Anticipated award notification
