WAGE$

  • Funded by Smart Start, WAGE$ provides salary supplements
    • twice per year
    • for between $600-4,000 per year, depending on education level.
  • Teachers must
    • earn $17 or less per hour,
    • teach children 0-5
    • at least 10 hours per week, and
    • remain at the same child care program for 6 months.

Infant-Toddler Educator AWARD$ Plus

  • Funded by DCDEE, AWARD$ provides salary supplements
    • twice per year
    • for between $600-4,000 per year, depending on education level.
  • Teachers must
    • earn $20 or less per hour,
    • teach children 0-2
    • at least 30 hours per week, and
    • remain at the same child care program for 6 months.

Children & Family Resource Center Early Childhood Supplement Program

Children and Family Resource Center Early Childhood Supplement Program

  • Funded through a grant from Dogwood Health Trust, CFRC provides salary supplements
    • twice per year
    • for $600 per year.
  • Teachers must
    • earn $23 or less per hour,
    • teach children 0-5
    • at least 10 hours per week, and
    • remain at the same child care program for 6 months.
    • have completed at least 3 semester hours of eligible coursework
