Smart Start Scholarships provide low-income families with high-quality child care, which enables parents to complete their education or earn a living while their children receive high-quality early education.
Smart Start Partnership for Children manages Smart Start Subsidy funds locally to continue to improve early care and education in Henderson County. This allows for targeted solutions that address specific community needs by boosting quality, promoting access for children that are highest risk, supporting families and assisting providers.
Smart Start Subsidy Scholarships provide support for eligible families to help cover or reduce the cost of child care. Eligibility is based on family income and extenuating circumstances and there is a focus on engaging families so parents can be active partners in their child’s early education and success.
